mikey.shake
The subject probably explains it all. "Sky Jinks" has been the top choice so far. "Nice 'n' easy". No screeching bleeps, bloops, or strobe-y flashes. Any advice?
+save2600
Can't say I've ever thought of gaming during a hangover. Usually too hungry.

VectorGamer
Try Ms, Pac-Man. I always found it to be a soothing gaming experience.

Metal Jesus
It's not on the Atari 2600...but the Endless Ocean games on the Wii would be PERFECT for a hangover. https://youtu.be/7ZfgJOHXbNk

WolfAmongWolves
Actually, that's the one situation where I think Desert Bus would be a real blast.
Trinity
How about missile command on a slightly off tuned crt tv with the volume up, but without the game running as the screen saver runs through the colors, some leftover pizza, with a ice cold Pepsi.
mikey.shake
It's not on the Atari 2600...but the Endless Ocean games on the Wii would be PERFECT for a hangover. https://youtu.be/7ZfgJOHXbNk Thanks, Metal Jesus! It's funny, the one I ended up spending the most time with was Seaquest... which I discovered via one of YOUR videos. Thanks for that! All on one screen, fluid movement, nice gentle color palette. You haven't steered me wrong on underwater games yet, so I'll have to pick up that Wii game for next time. It looks... mellow. I'll try Tapper, Brain Games, and Desert Bus next time, too. You know. For science and whatnot. Others I spent some headachey cocktail-flu time with that hit the spot were: - Ms. Pac-Man (a little on the bleepy side, but kinda Zen and relaxing) - Breakout / Super Breakout/Video Olympics (nice smooth movements) - Pitfall! (nice 'n' gentle) - Enduro - Fishing Derby BAD: - Berzerk (oh dear lord, that zapping noise!) - Barnstorming (that *sprang* when I hit something!) - Galaxian/Demon Attack (too much flashing and whizzing!) - First-person space shooters (Star Wars, Star Voyager, Starmaster, etc)
toiletunes
Too much flashing and whizzing sounds like the last time I was drunk...
+save2600
Oof... food? Not a chance. Huh? Surprised at some of the responses here 'ya lightweights! Eating after a good nights worth of drinking is a friggin' art form I tell 'ya!
+wongojack
Skyrim - I usually need to do a bunch of "errands" that I put off over and over. Knock out the little stuff while you are hung over. A lot of people can marathon Spider Fighter. You should play it before you get hungover to get the hang and then click in the morning after. Probably want the sound low or off. Also the game is better with a nice arcade stick
cobra429
I prefer watching Jr. Pac-Man in demo mode
