VectorGamer Posted May 21, 2015 Share Posted May 21, 2015 That's why I collect and read the old magazines like Electronic Games (the best video game magazine of all time), Replay and Play Meter. It wasn't until the Internet came around that we "learned" that Atari's Defender for the 2600 was a crappy game. But, if you read Electronic Games from BITD the game was highly praised. And I liked the game too when I was a kid. Whenever I get a copy of any of these mags I'll read them front to back cuz it's really interesting to read from that perspective.
