boxpressed
I never really used the S-Video TV Out on my PC videocards, probably because anything above VGA resolution looked terrible. But DOS games running at 320x200 or even at VGA resolution look pretty good. If you have a retro PC with an S-Video out on the videocard, fire up some classics. They look great with scanlines. This is Doom 2 on a Sony PVM-1354Q.
jmetal88
Hmm, I may need to get my K6-2 machine set up with S-Video out again and try this. I have a PVM-14M4U I could try it on, but I could also try it on my 32" Toshiba CRT television.
boxpressed
The PVM doesn't disappoint. It should be good with pre-VGA (320x200) DOS games. Not so good with Windows. But those DOS games that don't look quite right on an LCD look like a classic console game on the PVM. Looks better than it did on a CRT monitor because more scanlines.
