Strange looking Grand Prix game?

I came across this odd looking game that says Grand Prix but the art on it is from a weird off brand comic book I found on amazon. I can not get it to work so I don't know if it is just the original Grand Prix game but I did notice while trying to get it to run it is a very snug fit into the console.
