PM me all offers

i really wouldn't know where to start, i only bought an ntsc ti-99/4a 3 weeks ago, joysticks 2 weeks ago and speech unit last week so currently i have no games at all and thus no idea on prices in the USA and ebay is little help since postal charges from the USA are often a joke (seriously, an unboxed snes game for £5 but £40 postage, when i usually buy from one seller there who only charges about £4.50 postage)

I have no idea what TI carts go for either. I only have a vague idea of which ones are rare and that's about it.

well i've been hunting, still little clue on prices but i did find a "rarity list" on what sees judging by the links to it in google a fairly respected ti 99 website http://www.99er.net/rarity.htmlof the 3 i asked about 2 are listed as common, one as uncommon although his definition of uncommon seems a pretty low bar....

C = Common Everyone has it; most people have several duplicates
U = Uncommon At a flea market, you'll usually encounter a few of these.
as for prices your other thread on these carts shows up on google but tbh the prices someone suggested in there seem too low, i would certainly expect to pay more than was suggested there, trawling through "sold" and bin listings on ebay prices vary alarmingly from parsec at £3 (with manual) to a collection of 5 games (Parsec, Star Trek, Burgertime, Tunnels of Doom, Donkey Kong) which went for $6 (£3.87) with 5 bids

Several of my Atarisoft titles are boxed, which brings the value up some. I thought the spreadsheet listed that. If not, these are boxed:

Donkey Kong

Centipede

Defender

Picnic Paranoia

Jungle Hunt

Thats the thing on TI hardware and carts. It really is about the rise and fall of interest and the availability of the items... More so than most other gaming stuff I've seen.

For instance, if you havent seen a "St. Nick" cartridge in a year on eBay, then one pops up and it is noticed and announced on the forums, chances are it will skyrocket.

If, on the other hand, you have 3 of these pop up in a row, the price will drop considerably by the third one.

It's not that there are any MORE of them in the world, but it is 'perceived supply' more than anything else.

Several years back, I watched for a copy of Henhouse to pop up on eBay for over a year... Nothing.

One came up, I bid up and up and up and won the cart for a small fortune ($88)

In the last year, 3 or 4 of them have sold for under $50 a piece...

Did Funware fire up the production line and make more? Nope...

All that said-- Parsec, Alpiner, Invaders... Theyre all very common and typically dont bring more than a few dollars, even boxed.

The DataBiotics stuff and the Navarrone carts are tougher to find... Boxed Atarisoft carts are desirable, but not rare.

Even some of Tempest's TI carts are desirable... Congo Bongo for one.

This collection is very nice and has some good carts in it. None of them are 'once in a lifetime' carts, but you won't see some of them up again for some time.

Man... for what you're selling things for (Opry) and what Matt's hoping to get. (guessing since there's no prices). Just love how a handful of years ago, all my stuff was worth absolutely nothing. Yet, here we are today. Supposedly. ;)
