+SpiceWare
I'm a bit rusty at this! 76,050 Programmer's Tips: You'll have better control with a multi-button controller. Sega Genesis Gamepads and Amiga CD 32 Joypads are known to work. If you're full size, don't collect any ice as you're just wasting it. However, be sure to collect all ice before exiting a level - that way you'll earn the Level Bonus (the larger your snowman, the larger the bonus!) Corn Cob Pipe = half damage - so when you're blue it's a great time to put out lots of fires. Learn the jumping - if you tap the fire button, you'll jump a short distance. If you hold the button, you'll jump farther: Learn the double-jump - after having collected the broom, you need to tap the first press then hold the second press for maximum distance. If you tap tap you won't go as far. See reply #63 for press then hold. Edited July 17, 2015 by SpiceWare
StanJr
Ok. So now I see why every human on the planet regards Stay Frosty as the greatest homebrew in the universe. This game is exceptional! It's the opposite of Springer in pretty much every possible way. Fantastic! 13504 The screen you see is my current kill screen. I just can't handle those tiny moving platforms with Frosty's smooth physics. I actually cleared the screen and fell out trying to get to the exit. Damned gas cans! This is going to be a fun week! Thanks SpiceWare (is it fair for the programmer to play his own game...?) Edited July 12, 2015 by StanJr

+SpiceWare
Ok. So now I see why every human on the planet regards Stay Frosty as the greatest homebrew in the universe. This game is exceptional! It's the opposite of Springer in pretty much every possible way. Fantastic! Thank you! SF2 had a long development time*, maybe even more than all of Tigervision's games put together , plus I had a lot of help as noted in the Credits section of the manual. 13504 The screen you see is my current kill screen. I just can't handle those tiny moving platforms with Frosty's smooth physics. I actually cleared the screen and fell out trying to get to the exit. Damned gas cans! This is going to be a fun week! There's a couple of topics where I've posted level specific pointers (behind spoiler tags of course), such as this reply for level 9. Thanks SpiceWare (is it fair for the programmer to play his own game...?) Based on prior HSC weeks, there's a good chance somebody will beat my score and earn the bonus Thanks, Spiceware!  You're welcome! * the Story of Stay Frosty will resume next month

Albert
If you haven't purchased Stay Frosty 2 in cartridge form, you can do so here:AtariAge Store: Stay Frosty 2The limited numbered version of the game will only be available through the end of July. After that, we'll be changing the label and future copies will not be numbered. Also, I added a box option to the store today for Stay Frosty 2. The boxes look great. ..Al
StanJr
24264 Ok. Now I'm rolling. Wow, the levels get big and get busy! LOVE this game. May have to make a hard decision between paying a minimum balance on one of a number of completely maxed credit cards or having this on cart form...
keilbaca
YAY! I had fun helping play test this game. I showed off this and a couple others that I had the pleasure to playtest (Medieval Mayhem and Space Rocks) at the Carnegie Science Center, for their 21+ night. I can't play tonight, but I definitely will put some time into this.

Can the boxes be ordered separately if you already have a copy of the game or are you only selling them as an add on for new orders?
Albert
Very cool box. Can the boxes be ordered separately if you already have a copy of the game or are you only selling them as an add on for new orders? No, I will sell them to anyone who previously bought the game. I'm looking for a suitable box I can use to ship the boxes flat, so the owner can "assemble" the game into the box. This prevents possibly creasing the top or bottom flap while opening the box, were I to ship it with the flaps already tucked in. ..Al

+SpiceWare
Game: 1BB Difficulty switches don't affect game play. If the holiday music gets annoying set the right switch to A to turn it off. As an added bonus, you'll be able to hear 2 distinct sound effects at a time instead of just 1.

Spacey Invader
7,164 First Time playing: 7,527 sf2_7527.png My first runthrough as well. Maybe the neighborhood of 7k is where first runs live? Already some frightening scores though. Great game, SpiceWare, hope you're proud -- you should be. LOVE this game. May have to make a hard decision between paying a minimum balance on one of a number of completely maxed credit cards or having this on cart form... Know that feeling. I'm broker than the 10 commandments, but damn, I've got a little shopping cart of homebrews I must have, from this season alone. It's just money, right? The trick is making sure there's enough to pay for electricity too, or you've defeated yourself and lost.
