RangerG
Is there a checklist somewhere of the originally released Intellivision overlays? I'd like a way to keep track for collecting. The list I use I just realized has a few holes in it and I'd like a complete one. There are sites with great pictures of overlays, lots on variants, and a bunch on the flashback overlays, but I can't find a straightforward check list. Thanks. +intellivotion
This has always been my favourite guide: http://www.intvfunhouse.com/overlays/table.php Images and more are here: http://www.intvfunhouse.com/mattel/overlay/ ; http://www.intvfunhouse.com/intvcorp/overlay/ ; http://www.intvfunhouse.com/imagic/overlay/ ; http://www.intvfunhouse.com/activision/overlay/ ; http://www.intvfunhouse.com/coleco/overlay/ ; http://www.intvfunhouse.com/dextell/overlay/ ; http://www.intvfunhouse.com/interphase/overlay/ ; http://www.intvfunhouse.com/intellivisioninc/overlay/
+JasonlikesINTV
If you're looking for a comprehensive list of all variants and 3rd party aftermarket overlays, the list is quite extensive and always growing. If you want a simple checklist of which of the 125 original games came with overlays, that's much easier. I think the magic number is 88/125 (based on my quick math). I can try to add a list later. freewheel
I have 89 listed that came with overlays. Probably easier to come up with a list of those that DIDN'T.

What was your 89th? I still got 88. I counted World Championship Baseball, but none of the other INTV games. Didn't count Congo Bongo. No Atarisoft. No Parker Brothers. Only Coleco was Mouse Trap. freewheel
Hmmm, I'll recount. What was your 89th? I still got 88. I counted World Championship Baseball, but none of the other INTV games. Didn't count Congo Bongo. No Atarisoft. No Parker Brothers. Only Coleco was Mouse Trap. Never mind. I was wrong. My little algorithm to count games with overlays had an off-by-one error. Took me quite some time to spot it, too - you'd think manually counting 125 items wouldn't be so tricky but apparently this was. On the bright side, my "% complete" ticked up a miniscule amount today, so thanks!
RangerG
Yes, that's what I want, a list of the 88. I'll check my list and see how far off I was. Thanks for the replies.
+JasonlikesINTV
I'll list them tonight on my PC (would take a while to do on my phone).

This applies to all platforms, not just INTV. No disrespect at all to the rest of it (hell, I'm into all of that too). I just would like to see more of the "here's the BITD list" kinda thing. It's how I collect, because this is what you find in the wild. The rest is the icing on the cake, and fun in its own right, but it's not exactly the stuff you find at a garage sale.

It looks a little redundant... just a little No, I leave it there just because I mentioned the games with different overlays. But did I forget some? Ignorama
Its in german language, but I made a detailed listing here: http://forum.nexgam.de/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=81742 There you not only find the games with overlays, you also finde them separated into the games with two equal, two different or more than two overlays. I also tried to collect the games with additional stuff, but that seems to be a never ending story and may I quit that mission
Ignorama
Well, I should have read Intellivotions post first, because he listened all important information ^^
+JasonlikesINTV
I'll give you a subtle hint: Triple Challenge Ok, so Triple Challenge had 3 games included, but never came with overlays. Triple Action also came with 3 games, but only had one overlay. Mr Basic Meets Bits & Bites included 3 games, but officially included 3 pairs of overlays (Mr Basic, The Cannon, and Vampire Bats). So technically there were 88 original releases that included official overlays for 90 games. Also, as stated earlier, some had unique left and right controller specific overlays (Swords & Serpents, Chess, The Cannon, Microsurgeon, World Series MLB).
