BydoEmpire
I've been listening to the Maze-A-Tron Intellivisionaries episode (a bit behind), and I realized that I've never owned and never played Tron Deadly Discs. I had Maze-A-Tron back in the day (and loved it), and I acquired Solar Sailor a while back, but for some reason I never had Deadly Discs. I suspect I would really like it. One of the games I tend to reach for these days is Space Hawk, although I never owned it back in the day. My brother, sister and I had around 40 games, most of which I still have, but there were some commons that for whatever reason we just never got. Our cousins had an Inty, which was strange since they were the only other people we knew with the system, and we'd play Space Hawk at their place when we visited, but I didn't own it until much later. Maybe it's a good thing, because it keeps it fresh for me now. I do really enjoy the game. What about you, and what are your thoughts on the game now, since the nostalgia factor is removed. +intvsteve
Regarding Space Hawk, I've always had a soft spot for it. I mastered that game, and had it when it was current. I still like it. Guess I should go read some other reviews of it and see if the criticisms hold water - lots of people seem to hate it. There were a good number of "commons" we never had - we never got a single Coleco game, nor any of the Parker Brothers games for whatever reason. Don't recall having AD&D - my best friend had it so we always played at his house. Post-crash, when I had my own pocket money, I filled most of the holes in the Mattel games when Kay-Bee had piles of games for something like $1.99 and, if you bought 5 you could send off for 5 more or something like that. Intellfan
I missed all the Activision games I didn't have one . Today I love worm whompers and River Raid.
