Well, It was a good month for gaming!!! I am very glad that Henhouse was worthy of your efforts, and even more glad that some of you did so well!!! I've been playing this game for 30 years and globeron beats my highest score lickety split. Excellent!!

A fine job to globeron!!! PM me with shipping info for your prize!

It has now fallen on your shoulders to select the next game. Choose wisely!!!

What is your dad's all-time high score?

(my 5 year old kid has an obsession with eggs (no clue why), luckily he was sleeping when I played the game

otherwise he would be standing in front of the screen catching the eggs himself...),

I also think I never played the game that long in a row.

But I saw 1x time during playing the egg got stolen and was not counted as broken egg, cannot completely

understand why, it must be an easter egg    (SHIFT 838  :-)

I have his score written on the score "board" at grandma's house... it is quite literally a pine 1x6 plank with a bunch of our scores from all the old TI, INTV, and VCS games we played BITD.

I don't remember the exact score but it was more than 35k and less than 40k, IIRC. I will check "the board" when we go back to Colorado on vacation (3 weeks from now).

Here we go. Now we have played 20 rounds already.

There are 3x similar games (as far as I know) which are similar:

1. Frogger   2. TI-Toad  3. Princess & Frog.   Number 1 and 2 I like the most

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope everyone is okay with it, but we are going to play BOTH 1 AND 2

Each time you post both high scores you achieved (even you do not play the other game)

so you can play 1 game only if you want, but make sure you post the TOTAL scores you achieved.

Frogger  (requires a Joystick)

TI-Toad  (both keyboard and Joystick)

I had a moment :)

I didn't give TI Toad as much of a chance, I admit.

Default difficulty (slow?).  I'm not sure what was worse  - today's travel through Houston traffic or the #$#$ snake creatures on the last two screens.

Oi, your 17090 beats me, BUT I've been practicing. I needed both games to stay in this one, but 13250+4600=17850. It's not much of a lead but I'll take it! ;)

TI Toad's gameplay is certainly not as 'nice' or forgiving as Frogger.  Parker Brothers did a nice conversion.  I hopped around some more while waiting on the phone during the last hour ;)

(above's Insane Multitasker score is 20,940)

With Frogger we can see the levels (yellow icons lower right corner,  with TI Toad we need to look at the characters I believe, like the lobster, etc.)

* Frogger played on the RetriPi3 (TI99/SIM image) as I had to test out the controller (see Facebook)

   Level "Slow 1"

* Ti-Toad played with Classic99 (and the same Oker PS/3 controller)

(and photos taking from my phone of the LCD screen, no clue how to do screenshots on the RetroPie)

Total score: 14,260 + 6,800 = 21,060

(this is a recap on Munch Man. Here I found the real highest score seen so far

in Yesterdays News Volume 1, 2 and 3

It is a much more higher score over 200,000+

Attached File  ScreenHunter_120 May. 07 18.27.jpg   12.95KB   17 downloads

PS. I did not see high scores for Frogger or TI Toad published so far, so keep jumping!

Does anyone know how to change the title page from HenHouse to  Frogger + TI Toad ?

I will try to do it sometime this week. I am out of town for two weeks and have very very spotty and limited internet access.

Impressive!  I just might need to coax my joysticks out of their storage bin.  Using the keyboard just isn't cutting it, though I don't expect to do much better with the joystick  ;)
