bikeguychicago
I saw this listing while browsing 5200 games. Who in their right mind would buy this thing and, better yet, why would someone sell something that could possibly cause someone to get ill from it? Nutsy Doodleheimer
What is that person thinking trying to sell this? Might as well just sell your used underwear on there.
bohoki
yea that has zero new in box value the seller sho8uld open it and check the condition of cart label and sell it as loose
CannibalCat
I've bought from him before, great guy though, goes above and beyond. But yeah, shouldn't sell toxic mold!... sell it loose like Bohoki said.
Keatah
He just said it comes from the Arizona desert, which is typically a dry area. Seemed pretty nice about it. I bet it was "infected" at the factory, what with the unbleached cardboard, and adhesive, that PB used. Maybe that part of the box was handled too much then left to sit in the dark. Or maybe "mis-handled" at the factory, thus setting the stage for the colony to flourish..? I'd bet that if you unwrap it you could blow some of that off, forming a cloud of mold itself. Seen this stuff before when clearing out a hoarder's apartment.
Shawn
It's actually prohibited by law to mail any sort of mold.
Keatah
The letter of the law says so. But a little bit like so. I don't think the postmaster general is going to fine you.
Andromeda Stardust
I've seen worse. Some dude wanted to VGA grade this... Edited August 29, 2015 by stardust4ever
Lynxpro
If you consider Super Cobra to be worth $15, then buy it and remove the plastic wrap from the box outside and then discard it. From what I can see, it doesn't look like the "mold" is on the cardboard. Now, the seller brought up an interesting point. Has anyone done a binary hack on the game and made it support 2-fire buttons?
Shawn
I've seen worse. Some dude wanted to VGA grade this... I've seen worse get graded by VGA. You ever see the vga 10 Super Mario Bros 1? Or the part melted game that was graded?

Yeah but in a way the moldy Dr Mario is more legit. The Super Mario Bros was deliberately defaced.
Shawn
Yeah but in a way the moldy Dr Mario is more legit. The Super Mario Bros was deliberately defaced. I did not know that. I know the melted one was done on purpose but I did not know the black box mario was trashed on purpose.
