+atari2600land
I want to get my first INTV homebrew. So I am asking are there any available for purchase right now? If not, how long will I have to wait? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on them.
+cmart604
There's a fair number available I believe. Rev has Copter Command and Breakout for sure, and may still have Space Cunt and Magic Carousel, with another one on the way soon I believe. Collectorvision should have Princess Quest and Flappee Bird, and maybe Space Raid and Sydney Hunter. I'm not sure if David still has copies of Ms Pac Man and Super Pro Tennis left. I believe Tim (Naberhood Games) has a few Elektronite games available. Likely Kroz and Boulderdash, and maybe a couple other ones, check his website. Also Groovy will hopefully have a couple coming out soon. Rev's site is a great way to stay up to date on what's available, you should subscribe to his newsletter.
+atari2600land
I went to the Collectorvision site and of course there's no prices listed. How much should I expect to pay for something? I'm interested in Princess Quest.
+atari2600land
I looked at some other sites and the prices are like $75 or so! Is this because they come with a box? Is there a way to get the game without a box so it won't cost as much? I don't even like boxes.

It seems that none of the homebrews now available is officially sold without box, but maybe they have some loose carts, who knows. As a result I own very few of them.
ZillaRUSH
Atari...I picked up my first homebrew about 7 weeks ago and I am hooked! I searched and found a few! Older unavailable ones will cost you a bit (if you can find them)....here are a few I have and rankings...other members can tell you about older ones. Space Patrol is on my want list!! Anyone have an extra to sell?? 1. D2K - still available for $139 (?) - worth it!! Best homebrew for INTV 2. Super Chef Burger Time 3. Ms. Nighstalker 4. Space Raid 5. Boulderdash 6. Copter Command 7. Old School 8. Ms Pac Man Those are all I own....picked up a nice bunch in 7 weeks. Good luck!! Edited September 3, 2015 by ZillaRUSH

+BBWW
Look for 4-Tris. Definitely look for 4-Tris. Mine is on it's way to me!!!!!!! Only Home-brews I need now are League of Light, Robot Rubble and BLIX. Then I will have every know release at least of one variant of every Intellivision game. I'm still not sure we should count BLIX.

Ignorama
1. D2K - still available for $139 (?) - worth it!! Best homebrew for INTV 139? Lol, not even close. Its not really rare and honestly: No Intellivision game (including the 125 original games) is so much worth when we talk about gameplay.
+JasonlikesINTV
Yeah, there are like 500 copies out there. Great game, but I think I paid $65 for D2K and felt it was on the high side at the time. $50 games please

Sure I like $50. games too, but when one is made and designed with original levels, production costs may be a little more. Important to this is following the trail of games coming out on Intellivision Revolution or here so you do not have to pay way more after the fact of game release. First Spear
I like the fact that Intv brothers and sisters new to the homebrew/independent scene have a first reaction of sticker-shock. The more "new" people that mention prices, the better. I think it's always better to have more opinions from the market-at-large than just the most vocal and opinionated AA Inty regulars. Every Game from Elektronite costs between 65 and 70$ if I remember right. So that argument is invalid, because I also paid 65 for my Minehunter and I doubt the development costs were that high

+JasonlikesINTV
My $50 game dream is wishful thinking and has clearly not stopped me from making any game purchases. That said, it's FAR from a cheap video game hobby compared to other retro console homebrews or even newer gen games. Wii U and PS4 are only $60. The price tag is a deterrent for many would be new collectors, which may partially account for our smallish market.
Ignorama
Money Money Money...do you really think someone makes here the big cash? Definitely not and as we heard not just one time that is the problem is some so called business men. But I doubt that they make losses, because even if the cash is small, it should cover the investment + a benefit. By the way: I do not understand your comment, because we compared prices, wolfy throw in some arguments why Elektrinite titles cost much more than all other releases and I pointed out, that this argument cant be true with an example. Stop beeing a dark knight 1. All new parts - no reused cart shells. The boxes are high quality. 2. There are programmers that need to be paid. 3. Graphic artists that need to be paid. Just a couple of examples. Edited September 4, 2015 by SoulBuster
