GroovyBee
Seven entries announced so far. Looking at the screenshots (and ROMs available), six of them are well under way. So... that means that the contest now meets the minimum number of entries (as set out in the rules) . The current list of entries so far is :- Horrorcade Alligator Swamp IntelliBullet Simon4 Zyx Space Versus Tris I'm looking forward to seeing what other games are entered too.
+DZ-Jay
That's great! I've seen all screenshots and played all work-in-progress ROM posted so far, and I must say that I am very impressed!! I am also looking forward to see what's coming! dZ.

carlsson
What happens if less than 6 entries are finished by the deadline? Will the jury determine a winner among those who are completed (assuming there is more than one such entry) or is it possible the competition will be extended for another period of time? GroovyBee
I'd recommend anybody that is developing a game for the contest to submit what they've done by the December 31st deadline. Its possible to get a good idea about a game from just a few levels. If there are fewer than 6 valid entries received by the closing date the contest will be declared a "no contest".Even with 6 entries, I'd be very surprised if the winner went "straight to cart" without some tinkering after the contest ended e.g. adding game data save to flash memory, HSC league table, cut scenes, extra polishing and so on. freewheel
There will be more than 6 entries. If nothing else, a few of us will toss in one or two just to make a sport out of it.
Kiwi
I'm almost done with one of my Colecovision game, then I'll work on the contest.

GroovyBee
I counted 8 entries. Although people have announced projects they have to follow the submission rules in order for the judging panel to assess the entries.
