Jess Ragan
That music... it's from the NES version of Gyruss, isn't it? Looks pretty good (and sounds better still), by the way. I wouldn't call it Gorf, though... doesn't seem to have anything in common with it.

+DZ-Jay
In windows 10 video recording works with F8 + A ! Thanks a lot The voice sounds like it could be really cool, but unfortunately it's unintelligible. Perhaps there should be some cue on the screen to hint the brain as to what it says... I just played a round with the latest ROM. Here's some feedback: The title screen music is very exciting and cool, but it seems sort of orthogonal to the sci-fi theme. I like the 3-D look of the title screen, but perhaps the letters could use a bit more detail. The background music is much too loud during game-play, overpowering all other sounds, and making it a bit distracting. It is also, in my opinion, a bit too shrill. I don't recall if nanochess added to IntyBASIC the ability to control the tracker volume, but I'm sure it can be done manually with a POKE. I can't really understand the voice that plays at the beginning. I know it's technically impressive that it talks at all using just the PSG, but perhaps there should be some text on the screen to cue in the player's mind what it says. I can tell it is a female voice, which is very cool, I just can't understand it. Most sound effects are great classic sounds -- except the player's shot, which is a bit dull. When I die, the game goes straight to the title screen right after playing the Game-Over jingle. It should at least wait for a key/disc press before returning, to give the player some room to breath and review his score. The title screen accepts most key presses to start the game, except the more traditional disc and action buttons. Most people are used to starting a game by pressing these. At times, the music tracker goes silent for a note or two before continuing, making it sound a bit like a "stutter." I do not know if this is an artefact of emulation. That's it for now. Cool work! -dZ.

There's PLAY VOLUME for it. No POKE needed in IntyBASIC since v0.

+DZ-Jay
PSG log player for intro music The music in the title screen sounds great! The tune fits perfectly with the theme. If I may make a suggestion, it's to add a second movement to it after repeating the hook a few measures, just to make it more interesting. -dZ.
