Eric7100
I know this is off-topic, but I wanted to share a link to an eBay auction for an entire collection of every Nintendo 64 game ever made (296 games in total). The BIN price is $40,000. This also begs the question: How much would an entire Intellivision collection cost? All 125 games CIB? All 125 games not CIB? All 125 games plus every homebrew? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-Nintendo-64-Collection-All-296-N64-Games-CIB-Complete-In-Box/181879204536?_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D33490%26meid%3D94072fddd7bf4d9f8b03d050ff352f2e%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D20%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D121780706644

Rev
I have every single n64 game on one cart. Only cost like 100-ish I think.
freewheel
Under $10,000 for the 125 CIB. Probably in the $7-8k range? Am I out to lunch on this one? My guess is the $40k price is probably double what it's "worth". That's how these all-in-one auctions typically go.

+JasonlikesINTV
OK, after fancy maths. I got a range. First, a few disclaimers. So I made a quick list of the games and tried to assign a value to each game assuming CIB and average condition. I got my range by initially starting with lower prices for games and assuming that CIB commons could be found for around $2-3/per game and that average condition rare games weren't setting any records. This was my lower end. Then I went back to the list and was slightly more generous with pricing. I bumped some of the commons up to $5, added $5-10 to the price of middle ground games, and went more high end with INTV Corp and other rare titles. Obviously the selling price for a single games would be higher than the cost per game of assembling a collection by initially buying bigger lots. Bundling means discounts. Also, condition plays a huge part, so if you have a mint 125 and think my number is low, it probably is. My final range was lower than I expected. However, even with my higher pricing, I was still somewhat conservative considering that realistic sales (or purchases) would involve eBay/Paypal fees and/or shipping costs (not to mention countless hours of searching for deals). The final range....$5000-6000 $5K would be buying on a budget or possibly selling all at once. $6K would be paying closer to market value for average condition games and bundling somewhat. All that being said, this is all quick math I pulled out of my ass using pricing from my memory. I have no doubt that a properly parted out mint collection could go for $10K. Also, don't even get me started on homebrews Additional info on my rare game prices...here are the ranges I used: $1250-1600 Spiker $300-375 for LF1 $300-375 for LF2 $300-350 for Congo Bongo $250-325 for Stadium Mud Buggies $185-205 for Body Slam $150-165 for Triple Challenge I know, I know. Spikers can sell for $2000, LFs can go $500, etc. Feel free to disagree and call me names
Fushek
Well, just spitballing here ... Probably around 5k Max. After spiker at 1200, learning funs at 750, the prices start coming down. Assume another 5 to go for around 200/300 each for another 1200. Another 10 to average 100 each. Add another 1000 for the rest of the games. Of course, these are individual prices. Lots are typically sold at a discount to selling individually, so yeah, I'm going with 5K.
Eric7100
Wow... thanks guys, for figuring this out. But what if all Intellivision homebrews were included?
+JasonlikesINTV
Let's see. Average cost of $60/game times around 55 games....sooo, around $3300
pimpmaul69
Let's see. Average cost of $60/game times around 55 games....sooo, around $3300 umm 4-tris, rr, league of light, blix could command almost that much so i would value homebrews higher than that

The actual value would be huge.

freewheel
Something is seriously messed up if the total value of a homebrew collection is more than the originals.
+Lathe26
Just to toss in my 2 cents: I've been somewhat tracking sold prices on eBay for a while and the total I came to was about $6500. Now, this is just a little north of what JasonlikesIntv came up with. However, since prices do vary over time and that this is only ~20% difference, I am willing to say close enough for government work. Here are the games that make up about 1/2 of my estimate:Mountain Madness Super Pro Skiing - $189Body Slam Super Pro Wrestling - $203Congo Bongo - $247 Stadium Mud Buggies - $331Learning Fun I - $396Learning Fun II - $432Spiker Super Pro Volleyball - $1,
+JasonlikesINTV
I think between the 3 of us, the $5000 to 6500 range seems pretty solid. Regarding the homebrew value, there are 1/3 as many as original 125 but many of the 125 are relatively cheap. I can't think of a single homebrew that has actually lost value since its original sale price.
Eric7100
I was considering if you include at least two copies of 4-Tris (IntelligentVision and LTO), Robot Rubble, League of Light, Blix, and one copy of all the others.
+save2600
I can't think of a single homebrew that has actually lost value since its original sale price. Match 5 maybe? Picked up a NIB copy for $35 shipped not that long ago.
+JasonlikesINTV
Match 5 maybe? Picked up a NIB copy for $35 shipped not that long ago. Good point, although I'm sure I could sell one for $50 if I advertised for a few months. I think I bundled mine with another game in the first place, so I only paid $50-60ish. Either way, most held or appreciated.
wolfy62
I think if you have a nice complete collection including all the Homebrew games, you should be able to sell it individually for around $8000. and in one package for $7000. My thoughts..... And since I just said all the Homebrews, probably even more than that! Edited October 9, 2015 by wolfy62

Yeah, one is missing the manual, but the other one is complete, even if the condition isnt mint its much less than I am used to see for SMB. Eric7100
So $7000-8000 is too much, or too little, for a complete collection, including every homebrew?
