I better start putting some pennies aside now... Question: I understand wanting to preserve the portrait layout of the original arcade release, but will the side borders be left solid black? Not specifically referring to Xevious here, but something that would make portrait style shoot em ups unique to the Jag would be geting someone like William Thorup to do framing artwork related to the game to use as borders, if he had the time to do so. Not that I don't love the authenticity of what's been created, but if there's even a tiny chance that modern music remixes could be added it would be *amazing*. Exhibit A (which I'm playing while DJing at a nerdy music night on the weekend...I love it): Exhibit B: To be honest I find the original bleeps a bit grating these days, although I don't notice it as much when I'm playing. I even found a jazzy one, although I prefer the straight up 4/4 dance/house/techno versions. I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to contact the creators of most of these remixes...
