+Stephen
This was used my a local cable company (Marks Cablevision) where I lived in Green, Ohio. I remember seeing it when they finally ran cable to our area in 85, and immediately knowing it was running on an Atari.
AtariGeezer
Does anyone have a system disk they can upload? That would be cool if someone had one, but I've only know of 3 carts in the wild owned by gozar, atari8bitcarts and the one on ebay now, but no disks so far... The one I'm working on currently only works on my modified image. The System Disk is Boot Only with NO DOS on it, it loads it's data from $0400 to $3FFF area and parts of $9000 to $9FFF RAM under ROM. It looks for a signature on Sector 001 and 719 before trying to Load or Save the Pages (this is still being looked over). There is a table of 4 addresses that is loaded at $9CD0, one of which is the address where the Main Menu is loaded. This thing does some really weird shit

+Stephen
Dumb question, but with all the interviews being done, has anybody tried to contact John Harris? I know years ago he made it a point to say he did his entire career up to that point using and writing Atari 8-bit software. I think at the time he was installing airport kiosks. He seems like the kind of guy that would still have all of his stuff anal retentively organized and accessible.
_The Doctor__
I think Stephen makes and excellent point at that, really would make sense to track down Harris and his stuff... I think it would be an incredible multi part interview as well!
gozar
Revisiting this thread... I was trying to use the dump of my cart to create some screens in Altirra, but ESC-G to switch graphic sets will only switch to number 2 and stop. The Infosoft/5000 that is on AtariMania doesn't accept input. Well, it sort of does. If you type a character and then move right with the cursor key the letter will show. Anyone have a dump of these that does work? My cart works flawlessly except I can't save without the system disks.Plus, I can't easily capture the Atari screen.
Kyle22
We are also missing the Spectraview_1 ROMs. Two in the OSS type cart, and the one that replaces BASIC. If anyone gets an Atari, look for a rainbow screen instead of BASIC Ready prompt. That is most likely a Spec-1 ROM in it.
