+JasonlikesINTV
Nothing available currently, but fingers crossed for Christmas. Upcoming products are HIVE and LTO Flash. No pre-order or sign up available for either. Just keep watching for announcements.

+fdr4prez
tru dat and it hasn't been mentioned yet on this thread - one doesn't replace the other. I am thinking each will be permanently inserted a console and have them on different inputs to the TV.

+fdr4prez
and a few of us are a bit envious of those with 2 (or more) Cuttle Carts 3's, but all that will go away once Hive and LTO Flash are released - or some of it will go away...I may still want one even though it would be obsolete
Jinks
Thanks for the responses guys. I really find the controller directional comfortable but the firing different directions on the number pad is different. 4 fire buttons is crazy! I like the bowling game and the different views very high tech.

+fdr4prez
obsolete in the fact that you need one to run all your roms. certainly not obsolete for collecting purposes. that's just plain silly.
+BBWW
I'm looking forward to multiple LTO's and HIVES as well...yes, I'm a collecting whore enthusiast!
+fdr4prez
Does the videoplxer count as a multi-cart, of sorts? There is one on eBay for $3000 and one on Amazon for $1000. Neither of which is within my budget.
mr_me
The Intellicart is meant to be used with a computer and an Intellivision. It only holds one game at a time and loses its memory when the Intellivision is powered off. Software is required to load games via an RS-232 interface (USB adapter works). It does not work with games that use 8-bit RAM like Chess and Land Battle. Games that use "World Series Major League Baseball" type bank switching do not work correctly. The Cuttle Cart 3 uses a MicroSD card and can hold the complete Intellivision library of games using a menu driven interface on the Intellivision. MicroSDHC cards are not compatible. Not sure about the availability of regular MicroSD cards should it need to be replaced. There is some menu editing software but I don't think it is required to edit the menu file. Games that use "World Series Major League Baseball" type bank switching do not work properly with Intellivoice.. That's what is out there right now (if you can find one), but the LTO Flash is expected to be released soon. Please correct me if I got anything wrong. jaybird3rd
For those who are looking for a Cuttle Cart 3, I've got one on auction right now. It's not easy for me to part with it, but I'm a backer of Joel Hodgson's Kickstarter campaign to bring back "Mystery Science Theater 3000," and I'm looking for additional ways to support it; besides, I'm one of the lucky few who have a spare, so I can stand to part with one of them if it means supporting a good cause! Here is a direct link. I've started it at the original sale price from Schell's Electronics. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 121823492660
Utopia
Mine came with a 64MB card supplied when I purchased it and it would be handy to have a second Micro SD card for experimenting. Given that it is almost impossible to buy a card under 4GB now is there a compatibility issue? I read some time ago that cards of this size were not supported by the CC3. Is there a known size limit that the CC3 can use? Edited November 24, 2015 by Utopia

Is there a known size limit that the CC3 can use? MicroSD (standard capaciity) cards generally max out at 2GB. MicroSDHC (high capacity) cards are not backward compatible with old readers. Same goes for MicroSDXC. Maybe the reader can be upgraded to support SDHC with a firmware update.

I have not tested anything other than the 64MB card that came with it.

A 2GB SD 1.1 spec. card might work but it would be limited to 1GB usable space without a firmware upgrade, or might not work at all. There should still be some supply of these used microSD cards available (I have two of them).
