Here's the thread for the development of Snatcher for the ColecoVision

Call me crazy, but I've to decided to make Snatcher (from the MSX2 version) for the CV
Snatcher is my favorite game from Hideo Kojima

Now, it's NOT a simple port, it's going to be made entirely from scratch
I've to adjust EVERY screens so they can fit the Colecovision's hardware limitations, wich include all the graphics and music .....so let's just say the entire game

I've just start converting the graphics, so obviously it's not going to be release until late 2017
Meanwhile, you'll be able to follow the development of this game

I'll keep posting progress here

Wow that is great!  I really hope this project goes really smoothly for you.  I can tell you there are more than a few people here at my store that would love to buy that once it get released!

Good luck on your project..

Now if we can only get the Metal Gears for Colecovision one day, the entire old legacy of Kojima.

Well, I can already tell you that it's a pain in the a** to convert everything to fit CV's limitations

Although, I'm no way hurry, so I'm going to take the time to make things right

I think I'll be able to complete all graphics by the end of 2016

The MSX2 version is becoming super expensive, so I guess it would be more than welcomed on CV

Thanks for the support, It's well appreciated! :)

Not bad considering CV's limitations

Jean-Francois, are you making this with Konami's support?  If not, I can help make that happen as I know some people at Konami and they are open to licensing out properties (I am working on licensing some for my bead art for instance).

The map is completed since a while now
Problem is, we're under contract by Nintendo
I don't see us making Zelda now :/

Snatcher is a game I have always been interested in playing and haven't had the system for. THIS would be great! Keep it up!

That's very, uh, ambitious.

(You do realize this is a ColecoVision, right?)

I just discovered this thread. I love snatcher! Too bad Kojima never made any sequels like he did with Metal Gear.
