cimerians
Nice vid. I dont want to derail the thread but I must ask this. To anyone out there. If I knew nothing of these games, what do I try playing first? An older Pokemon game? A newer one? Where would one start?
dj_convoy
If you've a GameBoy or something that can play GameBoy games, I think you could do a lot worse than just playing one of the original games like Red or Blue. See if you like it and dig in from there.
Amstari
If you've got a 3DS the original games are finally going to be available to download in late February. If you want to battle other players online or trade pokemon you will need a current generation game: X, Y, AlphaSaphire or OmegaRuby.
Metal Jesus
What do I try playing first? An older Pokemon game? A newer one? Where would one start? I was curious about this as well, so I put the question out to twitter. The overwhelming response was: Fire Red and Leaf Green (GBA) or Pokemon X / Y (3DS)
