drummer4261900 Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) I just got my Neo Geo AES in the mail and its only playing sound and the text on the screen. When I pull up any game. I did have the Yellow and White AV cable reversed when I first plugged it in... What's going on? Below is a picture: Thanks for any help. drummer4261900 Posted February 12, 2016 Author Share Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) I also looked on the board and noticed there is a big blob of hot glue cover 4 pins on one chip. There is a bunch of empty holes with no solder in them keep in mind the photo below doesn't show its just a small example. I put a red mark around one so you can see what I am talking about. I already told you what the issue is, why did you ask for help if you plan on ignoring the answer? The yellow screen signifies a VRAM error. Traces are those little lines running all over the board. They move the current around. Since you know the problem is the VRAM, start by finding that and seeing if it's broken.
