SCART to SC1224

Recommended Posts

If your SCART cable carries RGB, and the Sega CDX outputs a 50/60Hz vertical 15kHz horizontal signal (which I think it does), then yes, it should. SCART cables also carry other signals such as composite and component, so it depends on how your cable was built- it may only carry the CDX's composite signal.

I was thinking it could now need to do some homework on RGB outputs 50/60Hz vertical 15kHz horizontal signal.

Yep it will work. I've used my CDX on a SC1224 then a Amiga 1080, then moved to XRGB2 and finally settled on a SONY PVM. Hell your close enough I even have a PVM you could have it you wanted to pick it up

Thanks but my other half would kill me if I get a other pace of hardware :-o but I would like to get the info on using the CDX on a SC1224 I'm going to mod a SCART cable.

I just matched the pin out from online. RGB Composit Synch an Ground. Some p used caps but my monitor worked perfectly fine with out any caps of resistors on the RGB

I got the Sega pinouts from here but you can just route it to the correct pinouts for the sc1224
