Looking for info on HRD 3000 modification

I've asked this before but have never hit gold so I'll ask again just in case.

There was a mod that existed called the Phoenix mod for the HRD series of RAM disks which allowed the Geneve to boot from the HRD. I am interested to know what that modification consisted of (basically the instructions.) I don't know if the Mod was ever put to paper but if someone does have it would you mind posting or shooting a PM. Thanks in advance.

Thierry's page has some 3000-specific information.

Aren't the instructions for that in the HRD4000 manual? I know I have a loose page around here somewhere that described the mod for the HRD2000 series. . .

The mod is built into the 4000. It's just a jumper setting. I have some 3000B cards that I believe were modded and I'd like to know what (if anything) was done to them.

The 2000 instructions would be a good starting point as well. I'd appreciate a posting or pm.

Thanks Jim.
