simbalion
Today I picked up a very nice Atari Video Pinball cab, but it has one issue: The plunger doesn't work. All the other controls work and I can get into a game, but it won't respond to the plunger being pulled and released. I knew this when I got the game and the previous owner said he got voltage at the plunger connector and the fact the rest of the controls work leads me to think the optical sensor is kaput. Is there a fix or replacement for this part? Other than that, it is a really nice machine and I am really wanting to play it! Thanks! simbalion
Found out that a .1M capacitor was loose on the opto board, but even after resoldering it twice I still get no reaction from the plunger in the game. Sadly, I don't have another type of that board to swap in.
