Stun Runner 87 Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) Hello, I bought a Lynx Alien Vs Predator proto cart a few months ago. The problem I have is levels. No matter what I do, there doesn't seem to be any way of completing level one with either the Predator or female character. I understand that it is an incomplete game, but is there at least a way to get out of the level one maze to get to level 2? ? Yes, there are definitely 5 levels on the released version, it doesn't appear that there are exits but you do have to find them. I've gone through the whole thing several times as Marine. I been trying to find the exits and have been in every single place in level one and can't find none. Is the exit hidden? I'd really like to get to the other levels. I finally figured out how to get out of first level with marine. I made it through level 5. I feel vindicated. Lol......I think the reason I had a problem before is because of the shitty map that seems to change on its own. You have to search for exit without relyingbon map basically. Other than that, I see the potential of how good a game thus could if been had it been finished. Very unfortunate that Atari didn't finish and release this. Would if been a hit for sure. LoL, if only I could find 3 people to use the comlinx with. ?. Even back in the early 1990s it was hard to find people to comlinx with because most people had that god awful shitty gameboy. Me personally I wasn't a fan of the gameboy. Lynx was far more advance. If only there was more games for it. Even with fewer games, I personally like the Lynx games better. That's interesting, I never knew that. The reason I say that is the version of my prototype has all three characters right when you start the game. I've never had to connect lynx units together to have that happen. As soon as you go to the character screen, you can choose, Alien, Predator or Marine. Definitely interesting difference in code! I was the guy that asked you if I could get a copy of the patched rom to compare the code to mine... you couldn't, probably due to the wishes of the owners of those roms which is totally understandable.
