k1w1
I was looking at the TOSEC collection today and noticed that it's collection of ".bas" software only went to "G". I know Atarimania has a lot of standalone BASIC programmes from magazines and PD sources but it is time consuming downloading them one at a time. Is there a site out there that has these ".bas" files stored in bulk for easy download. K1w1

k1w1
Thanks MrFish, but most of the standalone .bas files in that collection are bad. They either don't run or crash too the test screen. I have used the MemoPad program to try and read these files and they are mostly corrupt or are partially readable. The TOSEC set seems to have sourced these .bas files from Atarimania but have only got as far as "G". There must be a an archive of the Atarimania set somewhere. +MrFish
I picked out a couple to test before I pointed you to the archive, and they all worked. But I guess they were just lucky choices. I just tried a few more right now, and as you say they look like junk.
Level42
I took the liberty to copy and paste this from Fred's Atarimuseum.nl Facebook page: In the eighties the biggest Atari Magazine in the Netherlands was published by the SAG. Dutch member ProWizard has archived almost all disks of the Public Domain library. Atarimuseum.nl provided most of the missing disks. Now everyone can download this unique library for the Atari 8-bit computers absolutely FREE! You can find the zip-file (10,5 mb) here: www.atarimuseum.nl/fred/SAG-Archief.zip ENJOY! Mclaneinc
The trouble I've seen is that many .bas files are missing the data files that went with them which is a pain...
