Atari PC3 (XT clone) Keyboard Question

Hello,

 

I am looking into getting an Atari PC3 machine but it does not come with keyboard/mouse. Do you know if the keyboard is proprietary or would other XT keyboards work ?

 

The mouse seems to be identical to the ST mouse (just re-branded as "PCM1").

 

I don't have a CGA/EGA monitor, would I be able to use a Commodore 1084S in CGA mode ?

From what I can see the keyboard uses a standard PC/XT DIN5 connector; this guy seems to be using a non-Atari keyboard with his PC-3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29kwYvIfU9k

 

The mouse seems to use a standard ST D9 mouse connector, and this auction shows a regular ST Mouse being sold with a PC-3.

 

 

I doubt there's a more appropriate forum; it sort of fits here, the PC-1 in particular looked very similar to the Mega ST on the outside.

Yes a regular PC XT keyboard will work, and yes a ST mouse works with it.
