atarilovesyou
Quick question, pretty sure I know the answer but want to make certain before I buy: Will the SMS Light Phaser sold overseas in Europe play properly on a North American system? I thought perhaps some issues with PAL vs NTSC might exist, I don't know. For some reason there's a lot of europe sellers on the bay that have better prices than here in NA. Before I bite, just wanted to make sure I'm not buying a paperweight. Thanks in advance!
atarilovesyou
Guess nobody know I'll take a risk anyway ...speaking of risk, it's funny with ebay sometimes. I just found out the hard way that a Euro charger for my 3DS that I bought like 2 years ago is in fact NOT the right plug...d'oh! Didn't cost much, and didn't take the time to check it out before I travelled. That'll learn me!
CatPix
Not the right plug? What do you mean? Bough an UK one then travelled to the Continent? Or the opposite? I do'nt know, but there shouldn't be any difference between the US and Euro phasers. The phaser is merely a light sensor, it's the game that provide the program for the timing. I mean, ltos of SMS games in the US were directly shipped from Europe anyway.
atarilovesyou
I thought that perhaps because the light guns work using the tv signal that perhaps the difference of PAL vs NTSC might cause a timing issue or something. I'm sure it'll work, just wanted to see if anybody knew first hand.
