TI Programmable Calculators of the 70s

Recommended Posts

In high school and college, before I could afford a full computer, I enjoyed programming my TI SR-56 and TI-59 calculators. The user group scene was strong and their newsletters were full of interesting tricks and clues into the machines' inner workings.

More recently I have collected some lower end TI programmables and discovered a few of their secrets. In the spirit of the old newsletters, I wrote a few articles:

Are you in contact with AA member Andrew Davie? He is collecting calculators too (Soviet ones! icon_smile.gif).

His website seems to be down though. icon_sad.gif

A few years ago somebody hacked the site, and a hundred or so pages were 'infected' with a trojan script.

I couldn't be stuffed editing them all to remove it, so I took the site down. I don't really collect much anymore, except the high end programmables.
