ClausB
In high school and college, before I could afford a full computer, I enjoyed programming my TI SR-56 and TI-59 calculators. The user group scene was strong and their newsletters were full of interesting tricks and clues into the machines' inner workings. More recently I have collected some lower end TI programmables and discovered a few of their secrets. In the spirit of the old newsletters, I wrote a few articles: http://atariage.com/forums/gallery/image/12238-ti-55-57-mba/
Thomas Jentzsch
Are you in contact with AA member Andrew Davie? He is collecting calculators too (Soviet ones! ). His website seems to be down though.
ClausB
That name sounds familiar. I might have seen him in a forum. I just posted another TI-57 article: http://www.rskey.org/CMS/index.php/the-library/
+Andrew Davie
Are you in contact with AA member Andrew Davie? He is collecting calculators too (Soviet ones! ). His website seems to be down though. A few years ago somebody hacked the site, and a hundred or so pages were 'infected' with a trojan script. I couldn't be stuffed editing them all to remove it, so I took the site down. I don't really collect much anymore, except the high end programmables.
