AAA177
Is it possible to find any Sears Telegames for the 2600 factory-sealed/unopened, or is that just no longer in the cards?
0078265317
Probably more rare. But It was popular so some must have survived. http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Sears-Tele-Games-for-Atari-/231954893631?hash=item360196cb3f:g:qdcAAOSwdG9XRFlF Not sealed but still a good deal. chas10e
I think there's a question of if they ever were sealed ... back then Sears would keep their stock behind a glass case & a store clerk would assist you
fiddlepaddle
I don't think Sears games were factory sealed at the beginning, but maybe that changed somewhere along the way.
BassGuitari
IIRC there's technically no such thing as "factory sealed" Atari and Sears games because they were never sealed at the factory. Any shrinkwrapping would have been done by the retailer. Whether Sears added shrinkwrap to their games, I don't know, but now that I think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a plastic-wrapped Sears box.I'd hazard a guess that anyone selling a shrinkwrapped Sears game and calling it "factory sealed" is probably trying to pull one over on some unsuspecting customer. AAA177
Thanks for these replies, I appreciate the information. I have to ask -- does factory-sealed only refer to something wrapped in plastic? I always assumed I could use that term even if there was no plastic around an Atari 2600 cartridge box and the top of the box was still glued closed, with the tab still in the down position (if you know what I mean).

Yes. It simply means it's never been opened since leaving the factory. But people tend to think "shrinkwrap" when they hear "sealed." pymsparticles
Actually I have A sealed Star Raiders with the Video Arcade pad (box for star raiders is sealed, pad has been opened) so they were available at some point sealed from Sears. Hope these pics help
