IsARealBoy88
Are RCA mods worth it on the 2600?
R.Cade
If done right, absolutely.
Albert
Absolutely worth it!! I have quite a few 2600 systems modified for s-video and composite output. It makes an amazing difference compared to typical RF input on both CRTs and modern flat panel displays. I cannot recommend it enough. ..Al

danny_galaga
A yes from me too. Although I must admit the only reason I tried it was because I suspected the RF modulator was stuffed, and this seemed like the simplest way of 'fixing' it! icemanxp300
Is this a good one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-2600-7800-Composite-Video-Mod-20pcs-Blank-PCBs-/201596929494?hash=item2ef01d05d6:g:XRwAAOSwiYFXLhhV They sell pre-made kits but I figure I can just buy the resistors and stuff separate. I shared that simple transistor mod to OSH park a while back you can order bare boards there. A minimum of three will be something like $3 https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/DOX9VkSV
