S.BAZ Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 On Suicide Mission....the manual mentions "screens" but does not tell what the "screens" do....does anyone know the purpose of the "screens" ? no idea, that confuses me too. The default for suicide mission is Easy level. Is that what we're playing? yep, play on easy. all games on default & novice/B this round. The screens are shields that make your ship invulnerable for a few seconds. Since the Atari room is still filled up with stuff, the Atari had to be brought to the living room, so the real hardware could be put to work. [edit: I found in Subterranea, whenever you're fighting that tarantula-demon guy, it works kinda like fighting the dragon in Dragonfire. So far I've gotten to 69,260 and have played a few hours. I put down an approximate number, because I didn't check the clock. But it definetly wasn't much longer than a quarter of an hour. I played only one game, actually. Went better than I expected. I guess I was still in shape from playing Megamania recently for the Activision Patch Challenge.
