metzger130
Picked up at CX-22 Trak-Ball today for $10. Is that a good price for one? I know I can't use it that much til I get an AtariMax SD cart so I can play the trak-ball hacks, but I have one now. accousticguitar
If it works it's a good price. If you bought one off ebay the shipping would be almost that much.
metzger130
Bought it at todays CCAG Cleveland's Classic Console & Arcade Gaming Show, $10, no tax, just gas to get to the show which I was going to no matter what.

I'm probably the one who sold it to you. It's always great to meet a fellow AtariAge member!
metzger130
What are some good games to use the trak ball with? I know they have to be in joystick mode, but what are good ones? Other than Missile command, centipede, Milipede?
JamesL
Try games like Adventure and Berzerk where you move through a field in all directions.
Andromeda Stardust
If you have a Harmony cart, you need to check this thread out: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/243453-atari-2600-trak-ball-games/page-1 I bought a CX-80 trackball just to test them. My CX-80 works exactly like a CX-22. Some very early CX-22 trakball do not have a JS/TB swtich. If yours doesn't, then you are out of luck and it can only be used in joystick mode. However if it does have a switch, flip it to "TB" setting, load the CX-22 ROMs on your Harmony, and game on!
