Dropcheck
What about the PIA-less version? Can be an option after the first twenty are sold. I can add additional boards and parts for a few bundles w/o the PIAs. Not sure how many would buy. It's cheaper to buy the bundle for the most part unless you already have a stash of R6520AP chips. Trying to buy them as a separate order from somewhere else is not cost effective. The bundle will only be marked down by about $5 less. I got as far as checkout, but it keeps telling me there is no shipping method available, and my shipping address is definitely correct. So, I'll wait until I hear back from you on how to proceed, since there isn't any evident way for me to add-on the $8.00 shipping cost. Thank you, in advance! peteym5
I will pass this along to Video61, however he has several EPROM burners, some capable going up to 512K EPROMS, This appears to be limited to 64K. Can this burn .ROM files directly? or does the software require the 6 byte binary headers at the beginning?

Dropcheck
I will pass this along to Video61, however he has several EPROM burners, some capable going up to 512K EPROMS, This appears to be limited to 64K. Can this burn .ROM files directly? or does the software require the 6 byte binary headers at the beginning? This will burn 2732 to 27512 eproms tested. It will burn upto 512kbits or 64KB. At this time I have not tried to burn bigger than 28pin chips, but it maybe possible to modify the board at a later date to do so. The software is not limited by the memory capacity of the Atari, but by the size of the disk storage. Dropcheck
I will pass this along to Video61, however he has several EPROM burners, some capable going up to 512K EPROMS, This appears to be limited to 64K. Can this burn .ROM files directly? or does the software require the 6 byte binary headers at the beginning? After looking on his site, I don't see any EPROM burners listed for sale. Now if you are talking modern era Chinese or commercial burners, than that's what you are talking about and should clarify. I have already said this burner will not hold a candle to them. If you are talking about a burner that connects to another 8bit or 16bit computer, then again you are talking apples and oranges in comparison. This burner's main appeal is that it is Atari 8bit based and has a fairly wide range of capability for that limitation. I have successfully burned Basic/OS ROM files from 2732 to 27512 sizes. Unlikely that .EPR files will work as I believe they are not true ROM files. I suppose you can convert them back into real ROM files. Per the manual: Files, where at the beginning is a so-called COM-file header (6 bytes of header data of a compound file), are burned correctly as follows: with holding down the <OPTION> key while pressing <B><any key><any key> and further holding the <OPTION> key until the message 'GET ALIEN FORMAT' (loading third-party format) will appear. It takes approx. 0.5 s. Indication: Can a file be loaded and launched from DOS, it has for sure such a header. The header information is meaningless for a program stored in an EPROM and therefore skipped when burning. Files saved with the 'Bibo Burner' also carry this header. Files created with the 'Burnfile Generator' for the ROM-disk do not carry this header.
