Wayne2072 Posted July 26, 2016 Share Posted July 26, 2016 I have the original Galaga cart, plus one of the binary released 2 or 3 years ago with the graphics updates. My questions... Has there ever been a mod to slow (at least somewhat) the frantic pace that sets in at stage 10 in the Advanced play? If not, how difficult would it be to take either version (if one had the source code) and do so? I am not fluent in Atari programming, but to get the game closer to the arcade experience, I would try to learn enough to. :-) The advanced ramps up a bit quick, and the novice is easy. Wayne2072 Posted July 29, 2016 Author Share Posted July 29, 2016 I was looking at a disassembly of the Galaga code. I found where the code references the increased difficulty in stage 10.
