Lost Dragon
Two new videos for you. First up is the latest Battle of the Ports https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJwShczlw8E And I also have a new life in Japan video for you all to Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKInxdSvjEM&t A few of the UK Games magazines seemed quite keen on the Genesis and ST versions of Space Harrier II..though in the case of the ST version (which had graphics converted straight from the Genesis Rom) you wonder if the full page adverts Grand slam had paid to go in alongside the reviews might of helped. It was an odd release on the home micros.. You could pick up Elite's conversion of the original on the 8 bits for £2.99 and they'd released extra levels data disks on the ST and Amiga. Both options offering better VFM.

The amount of high scores given to rubbish games in magazines back then was laughable bad.

Yakumo1975
We've taken a look at Chinese SNES looking NES consoles before on Retro Core's Chinese Knock Offs however they normally have some issues. This particular unit is actually good!

Yakumo1975
A classic with a surprising amount of good ports. This week we look at Pang! on Battle of the Ports. Note that the SFC / SNES version is Super Pang!, Not regular Pang! so it's not featured on this video.

Yakumo1975
Is this what SNK should have released instead of the Neo Geo mini?
digdugnate
Is this what SNK should have released instead of the Neo Geo mini? I think so- i was really disappointed that SNK put all these great games in a cheesy-looking mini arcade machine.
Yakumo1975
One of the very few wrestling games I actually like on this week's battle of the Ports. It's Capcom's Muscle Bomber.
Yakumo1975
Sega were always a company for coming up with crazy ideas. Baku Baku Animal is just one of them. This week on Battle Of The Ports.
Bloodreign
I tend to check out your videos often enough, you're about the only one that fairly talks about them and weighs the pros and cons of each port. Some comparison video makers have too many fanboys in their Youtube comments section, but it's fairly balanced in yours.
Yakumo1975
This time we are taking a look at the second Pow Kiddy product known as the Q3. This is a Famicom / NES in the shape of a Game Boy but wait, this is better than the typical cheap clones out there.
Yakumo1975
Would you believe it. Sony go and publicise the all new PlayStation Mini Classics but forgot all about their PS4 console. ....... Oh, Wait.... It's not official, as if you couldn't tell (^_^)
Yakumo1975
Another Atari classic on this Weeks's Battle of the Ports.
Lost Dragon
Another Atari classic on this Weeks's Battle of the Ports. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mfGnwn9Ibw&feature=youtu.be :-)) Not touched either the C64 or ST ports in years. Least the ST version had the prisoner confession stage, sadly absent from the Lynx port, which i still poured hours into.

Yakumo1975
Over the many years of making Retro Core there is one game title that is requested time and time again. that game is Tetris. Tetris would be a very trick show to produce due to the many clones and versions but one day I will get around to it. For now though please enjoy the excellent Tetris Plus.
Yakumo1975
Athena, one of the most talked about female Gods. Surly a game based upon her must be good. Right?
