Everett1954 Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 (edited) Hi, Are there any differences for the 5200 files, .BIN, .ROM and .A52? Can they just be renamed to another extension? The Atarimax lets you hide the .ROM extension but not .bin which is most of my game files. I would like to rename them to .ROM if possible. Also i have tried many of the files for the game A.E on my Atarimax . and all I get is a black screen. Does this work for anyone else? BIGHMW Posted August 31, 2016 Share Posted August 31, 2016 I myself just ordered the Atarimax 5200 Ultimate SD cart and I'll see if I get the same issues (I own an import 4-port that is a/v/power modded) and replay soon, you could just either have an issue with your unit itself, maybe the cartridge slot needs a bit of cleaning, as I have had the same with some of my cartridges in the past.
