Omega-TI
I'm not really a gamer, and I'm only interested in the TI platform, but the problem is I'm starting to lose interest. With this in mind I was thinking that this PRGE thing I heard about at Fest West might be something to do if it falls on one of my days off. So I have a couple of questions for ArcadeShopper: 1) What are the day(s) and time(s) is it going to take place? 2) Where is it going to be? 3) Will there be adequate (free) parking? 4) Will you be doing anything with or in support of the TI? +arcadeshopper
Dates are Oct 21 to 23rd . it is right next to the max tracks in pdx. There is NO free parking near the conv center. I recommend parking at the lloyd center mall and taking the max over. http://www.retrogamingexpo.com is their webpage. Arcadeshopper is a sponsor and i will have a full both in the vendor room with ti systems and hw sw for demo and sale. There will also be the local retro guys there with their tis. I was so busy last year i was horse after a day from talking ti. Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk
Omega-TI
Parking and leaving my car on the east side in the Lloyd Center underground garage? I think I'd rather pay for parking to keep my car a little safer and easier to get to avoiding the hassle of the Max. If I buy anything, I would not want to haul it around on the Max. Also, it looks like VooDoo Doughnuts is fairly close as well...
+arcadeshopper
AGREED, I park at the convention center but then I got even more stuff to haul There is pay to park in the parking garage at the convention center, and some cheaper lots nearby but less convenient. Last year there were at least 2 other booths with TI's set up and running, and 5-6 with carts and parts for sale. The year before I came back with a haul of harder to find carts and a ton of wico bat handle joysticks Greg
Omega-TI
I tried to lookup the parking rates for the the convention center and got << THIS >> which is of no help at all. Being that you are a local, do you have the rates?

+jedimatt42
Oh, and I just found this map on the Convention center's website showing nearby parking and on site parking: https://www.oregoncc.org/visitors/parking-and-directions -M@
+Vorticon
I'm not really a gamer, and I'm only interested in the TI platform, but the problem is I'm starting to lose interest. We all have our slumps in our TI involvement periodically for a variety of reasons. But the attraction is simply too strong to stay away for long I haven't touched my TI all summer, and I'm just now slowly ramping up my interest again. The down side of course is that any prior pending projects go into limbo and it's hard to get re-familiarized with them, like my Phoenix Chess project... I think we need to find your burner something to do!
