It started out pretty easy and seemed boring at first, but after a few minutes I was really surprised how much I like it (though the music is pretty monotonous). I think my personal best was about 129k or 130k, but it certainly wasn't near the 173k you just posted. It helped that I got a wand in the second race and also in the Silly Race, and went through the game without losing any marbles. I beat the last race with 74 seconds left.
