sirlynxalot
Apparently this panel is contained in this comic. Anyone own it to find out why the Jag makes an appearance?https://www.amazon.com/Livingstone-3-Tomohiro-Maekawa/dp/163236266X/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1474746300&sr=8-1&keywords=livingstone+3&linkCode=ll1&tag=atariage&linkId=ced455553dd88fb9a64f686ea079edf6

+madman
The Jag, the 3DO and the Sega Mark III. Good company.
+LS650
The comic is about a super villain who is trying to destroy the world of video gaming by taking away all the fun.
racerx
The comic is about a super villain who is trying to destroy the world of video gaming by taking away all the fun. Well, that explains the console choices.
Moo
What's the console on the bottom left? Also I loved 3DO. It does have some good games. The best version of Gex and Need for Speed.
Andromeda Stardust
Those consoles were probably chosen based on the coolness of the design and relative obscurity in Japan rather than making a statement about any one system. The Jaguar does almost look like a cross between the Batmobile and the Millennium Falcon. Very comic-ish design.
JaguarGod
No matter the reasoning, I think it's fairly cool to see the Jag in that comic, complete with very nicely depicted JagPad and cart installed. To this day I find the Jag to be very nice aesthetically and the controller, though many people who have never held or used one may not like it, is ergonomically fantastic. Again, just my opinion.

Sega Mark 3 (original Sega Master System model in Japan) as Madman already mentioned.

+madman
Neat. Was the Jaguar ever on sale in Japan? Yep, there was a point where AvP was the Japanese pack-in.
