The Big "I'm stuck at Lode Runner Level XX" topic

Ever since I got Saint's brilliant SD card I discovered Lode Runner as a fantastic game. Some may complain avout graphics an sound but.....I'm a fan of the early stuff, late 70s early 80s, that's my era.

However BITD I wasn't a big fan of Lode Runner on my Atari XL, I think mostly because of not really understanding it....I guess I never figured out how it worked with digging on two sides (which is easy on the Lynx because of the two buttons).

Now.....my mission is to complete all 150 levels but sometime you get stuck at a certain level because I can't puzzle, out how to get some of the coins.....or gold....whatever it is....

So....I hope there are more fans of the game here and maybe we can help each other.

Of course it's easy tio skip a level, but that's cheating of course :)

So far I've reached level 23 all by myself but now I can't figure out how to get these two coins.....

Melt the top left blocks, fall down to the next level. Melt the two right blocks (so the cavity is now four bricks wide), fall down and grab the gold. Quickly melt the far left block and escape before everything closes up. Use a similar strategy for the right one.

Yep. It's a conversion of the Atari 8 bit computer version. Uses the same processor so must have been "easy" ;);) graphics are simple so....I guess this one was doable.......ha if only more games could make that cross to the Lynx.....Alley Cat, Miner 2049er, Bounty Bob, Mr. Robot, Donkey Kong.....

Havent succeeded with that tip het on that Level, so far the little fellows return on the left top of the screen instead of where I want them.....does this maybe depend on area where you burry them ?
