For years the trolls and bullshitters have claimed I fake screenshots, gifs and videos and produce vaporware. At PRGE 2016 you can come along and play the videos and bitmaps!

Head over to stand 625 and 626. Unfortunately, BBWW can't make the show this year so the stand is a bit smaller than we originally planned. I's also like to thank Al, batari, cmart604 and Rev for helping get the stand going yesterday.

Yes, If I was there I'd have another Piggy to tease with...but we will examine that in new thread soon.

I'me really sorry I've missed this show.  I'm not happy with not being there.

A couple of booth pics :-

Had a blast today. Lots of interest in Hover Bovver and Apple Snaffle. Some people also had sneak peeks at upcoming games too. It was good to meet some of the AA regulars and chat to developers interested in the platforms too.

At the risk of beating a dead horse and having groovy kicking me in the nuts....

I'm thinking of a snow level for hover bovver. Replace The green grass with white snow. And the lawn mower is a snow blower. And there ya go.

Maybe Vprette can make a pole we can vote on?!?!?!

;-)

FTFY. I don't think Groovy is down with this request.

Rev, if you released a game called Global Warming.

Would it have an Snow Level?

I am still waiting for the release of Super Snow Tron.

No, it was Tron, Complete with Ice Level...  j/k  Rev.  Love what you bring to the community!

I think it should be a law. Every game should have a snow level.....and maybe a lava level!

Hahaha

There can be a shoveling snow game included in Hover Bovver to satisfy Rev.

Dude, get with the program!  It's not Global Warming any more, it's Climate Change.  That way, ANY unusual weather can be blamed on humanity.  ;)

So, yeah, a massive snow level works fine.

Some pics of the games that were running yesterday:

Prge_2016_booth#3.png

Prge_2016_booth#4.png Prge_2016_booth#5.png

It was good to see people checking out the level select feature that allows you access to all 16 levels in Intellivision Hover Bovver and also playing the game in two player mode. At the game's higher levels, it is quite challenging to mow a complete lawn without being caught by the Neighbour or Gardener. One guy even liked the Inty version over the 7800 version :o :P .

Over the weekend, more people were attracted to the games on the Inty than the 7800. Perhaps that was due to the booth being in a corner of the vendor hall and the console was on the corner of the table with a bigger TV.

A fun weekend all round and I had a blast meeting and chatting with fellow AAers.

The colors for the Intellivision games were far more vibrant, so IMO more attractive. Not familiar w/ 7800… Perhaps the more washed-out colors were just due to monitor?

I was born and Niagara Falls, NY and lived my first 14 years south of Watertown, NY. I know of what you speak.

It could be a cool game though. Those big ones that have to dodge carts. I hate seeing the cars get ground up. I think you lose points for that....

Stay warm.
