Greetings, this round will be another 3 week session. I have raised the bonus points a tad to be more in sync with the scoring system.

I have also added a drawing for a special prize at the end of the season. Everyone who posts a pic each round throughout the season

will be entered. Doesn't matter how high or low the score, just post a pic each round and your in! Any comments or questions, post here

or send me a PM. Thanks, Jeff.

Meteoric Shower skill 1 (13,500 pts)

This was my first time playing this game, and I think whoever made the game had incredibly stupid lack of foresight and common sense. You would think this game would be like Slither, where you can move up and down freely while having one fire button shoot up and another fire button shoot down; unfortunately, the only way to face down on this game is to press down (the simple act of pressing down can push you downward too close to the enemies on the bottom half of the screen). It's not a bad game, but it would be perfect if it were more like Slither.

Threshold skill 1: 140,500 pts.

This is actually a terrible score for me, as I normally do much better than this. My all-time best is 263,400 pts, which I achieved on July 10, 2016.

Edit: Is the July 10 score of 263,400 pts eligible for submission?

Scores should be achieved during each round session. You still have a little over 2 weeks,to improve and I'm sure you will, I'm still working on Mr. Chin when time allows. Good luck!

Well played! Any tips or strategies you can share with us?

Always try to start at the bottom of the screen and in the center on each new level. Pick a side to begin with and try to get rid of a small handful of enemies before you begin to use the slow-motion feature. When possible, I like to quickly eliminate the enemies that are on the sides of the screens quickly so that I can stop them from zig-zagging across the screen and reappearing on the other side. Not only does this give you more room to manuever in the corners, but it's an effective way to kill multiple enemies quickly (especially if they're lined up directly behind each other).

Some levels might be difficult enough that you may opt to use the slow-motion tool right away at the start. Regardless of whether or not you use it at the start, always make sure to at least use it before losing a life! Each life you have enables you to use the slow-motion feature, so don't let it go to waste! If you use it and then lose a life, you can go ahead and use it again on your next life. It's not one per level; it's one per life!

If you're going to die, then die by crashing into the enemies (not their bullets). This way, you at least eliminate one in the process and can use the slow-motion again on your next life. This can be an effective strategy in conserving your fuel. If you're having trouble hitting them and you already used the slow-motion, you can eliminate an enemy via crashing into them to move on to your next life; your next life begins with you having a slow-motion tool again and your cannon's not at risk of overheating (the cannon's heat resets at the start of each life).

Some levels are difficult enough at the start that you may want to shoot at a particular side first. For instance, the third level has enemies starting very low on the left side. If you're not quick enough, you can get hit right away on that side. You may want to move to the left quickly and eliminate those low-riding enemies first (with or without using slow motion, it's up to you).

Above all, no matter what you do: any life lost without using the slow-motion tool is a wasted life! Sometimes you want to use it right away, sometimes you want to get rid of some enemies first; either way, make sure you use it before losing a life. When you make it easier to finish levels with more fuel, that means bigger bonuses.
