Quick question: I need to build a rotary arcade stick for this game. WHat is the best rotary to order and from who? I did some research and I could not come up with a set rotary to buy. Seems like a rotary and just 3 fire buttons would be all that I need. Anyone??? btw, my son just grabbed the highscore in coop. Not bad for a 12 yr old!!!! Hopefully I can try it this evening after work but babies take most of your free time But maybe she turns out to be an Atari player as well and we can play Rebootroids in co-op mode together Only five months old and already playing her first Christmas present... +thanatos Posted January 10, 2017 Share Posted January 10, 2017 Had a weird fluke when I played this weekend. Started the game, and I couldn't shoot! Thought a controller button went wonky, so I changed the button layout, and nope, the previous button that was thrust that worked wouldn't shoot either. Could be the case, but I'm pretty sure I ended the game and changed button mappings before starting again, not sure if I would have done it twice in a row. But it's all well and good now! rayik Posted January 11, 2017 Share Posted January 11, 2017 Able to sit down 2nd time with the game. Played twice. Second score is below. Levels are tweaked just enough so that they are not the same as the last RC. To me bonus levels are too boring. Can take as long as you want in them. Slow methodical shooting completes level just about every time. Would have recommended a countdown timer to force the player to go faster. As you advance further in the game, the timer would be lower forcing the player to make more difficult shoots to complete it. Not downing on the game. It is a lot of fun. Lots of really neat details: return from pause countdown timer; ship able to move off screen to other side on bonus levels; beautiful smooth graphics; great control of the ship. One other thing. Anyone discover any cheat codes? I got a couple of cheat codes by what I thought was a reliable source. Hopefully someone discovers and posts invincibility soon However, I did play the betas and RCs for many hours. Final version levels are tweaked enough so you have to relearn some of them. They all seem to have problems with both Tempest and Rebootroids.SOMEONE build me a dedicate rotary!!!
