AtariNostalgia
HI all. What is the best and economical way to hook up my 800 to a modern samsung 24inch TV/Monitor? It has composite in, not sure if that works with a cable? What about HDMI? To further complicate matters, my 800 is NTSC bought from the US. AFter moving to Europe where things are mostly PAL, I bought a TV/monitor that has NTSC playback, so hopefully that takes care of that. I don't know where to start. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!
Kyle22
I use the S-Video input on my TV. It's a sharper picture than composite, but some of the newer TV's don't have it. There is a thread discussing HDMI converters here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/236810-inexpensive-s-video-or-composite-to-hdmi-video-up-converter/?do=findComment&comment=3209394

vattari
I used one of these S-Video to HDMI convertors: http://www.spacehifi.com.au/av-distribution/audio-and-video-converters/composite-s-video-to-hdmi-converter?gclid=CjwKEAiA1ITCBRDO-oLA-q_n8xYSJADjBQfGQkV26Ak3x17gwoTQj8gA9E6czHvB8H3XbBCBXMoywBoCMdTw_wcB And also use a SCART to HDMI convertor: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/182365633383 With a SCART adapter: http://www.selby.com.au/scart-to-composite-s-video-adaptor-tt8217.html?gclid=CjwKEAiA1ITCBRDO-oLA-q_n8xYSJADjBQfGBUm29XE3Bw4lDHUczqdVwTjb3HzShxtC_mVxk-6P2RoCDajw_wcB (The latter is cheaper now, plus it will accept by Atari ST video signal too) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
