Lynx I carry case interest thread.

I'm looking into possibilities of having new Lynx I carry cases made.

 

I have always been annoyed by the fact that the small case for the Lynx II was never available for the I.

 

Since I now don't have any cartridges anymore (using the SD card) I don't want to use the big carry case anymore.

 

Basically I'm thinking of a similar case just like the small one for the Lynx II, maybe with a bit heavier padding for protection.

There will not be any cartridge pouches though as this would greatly increase work and price.

 

If there is enough interest we might be able to have a small run made.

Uhhhhh.....okaaayyyyyy, so it looks like they did sell one like that for the Lynx I ! I thought there were only like these for Lynx II.....

Yes. The pouch was made for the Lynx 2 and 1. The one for the larger Lynx 1 is far more uncommon, but not rare. Should be available new for around 20€ I guess.

Yeah it took me a while to realise that there are two versions of this pouch. Sometimes it's listed as either just a pouch, or a pouch for the Lynx II, but is actually the larger one. You can tell by looking at the pockets, and the amount of space underneath it. Obviously, there's a longer space between the bottom pouch and the bottom of the case on the Lynx I model (which also fits the Lynx II obv).

 

All this to say, there may be other listings for Lynx I pouches that aren't listed as such.
