Atari User Magazine downloads

Thanks, Callipygous, but, as Paul Rixon mentioned, it's the old Atari User downloads and scans I'm interested in before the magazine title was bought over by Page 6 and renamed New Atari User. Still, I'm sure it's a project that will happen one of these days.

Paul,

Good work! 19 out of 85 issues is excellent progress. Read the first 8 or 10 a while back, so I have some catching up to do. I always fear that these projects will get bogged down at some point. The effort for A.N.A.L.O.G magazine, for instance, seems to have stalled.

Callipygous,

Thanks. Will definitely keep it going!

Avram,

I'd be interested in tackling [Database Publications'] Atari User at some point but I'll have to do some investigating to find out the IPR situation; I'm not sure whether the Page 6 "merger" deal transferred copyright for the back issues.

Incidentally, if anyone reading this is a previous contributor to Page 6 or New Atari User (even it was a one-off article or program), please get in touch as I'd be delighted to include you in the "people" section.

Hi ,

I wrote a couple of articles for Page 6/New Atari User, a couple of game reviews ("Conflict In Vietnam" was one) as well as the review for DOS XE, I was the one who mailed them a disk to put in their library.

I only wish I started out writing for them early on, they used to pay quite well really, given the circumstances.
