jhd Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 For most of 1984, the ColorMate occupied a full-page advertisement inside of the front cover of Hot Coco. This was a expensive add-on device, presumably going after the same market niche as OS-9 and Flex. I recall contacting the company for information, and they sent me a very large amount of sales material, including technical data. It may not have actually been vapourware. Did anyone ever purchase this product? At US$500, it was more expensive that the computer it was upgrading, and there was the additional cost of a disk drive as well.
