+JasonlikesINTV
Yeah, also where are the "how did you do on your 2016 collecting goals" and "what are your 2017 collecting goals" threads? We could probably just bump the 2016 one.

Ignorama
I don't even know if I bought a homebrew last year, so my vote goes to Stadium Mud Buggies, still awesome and much more awesome than most (if not all) homebrews.

Ignorama
Why not? There are also things like "bird of the year" or "plant of the year" and I am pretty sure they are not limited to "made in this year" And to be honest: I really never played a homebrew which came close to SMB. Awesome game.

retroillucid
Yeah, homebrew sucks! Would be better if no ones would make homebrew games Tsss..........

Rev
It just means that everyone has different taste in game genres. Me, I dont like many...if any sports games. But everyone else seems to love them. Stadium Mud Buggies doesnt control that well, in my opinion. I give it a 5 out of 10. But thats just me. Maybe someone could make a new racing and/or an off-road game that will put SMB to shame!
retroillucid
I never said they suck, Salty McSalt from Salt Lake City. Homebrewers nowadays are doing amazing job IMO You also have to consider that no homebrewers are supported by big corporations I think all homebrewers are doing their very best Does their games are better than Super Mario? .... No But still, I applause their efforts
Ignorama
I would say the quality is swaying. There are good to very good games and really bad ones. Some of the bad ones are expected to be bad, so its okay, they are more a kind of joke and something for the curiosity shelf, but there are also serious releases which do not pass my quality control. I won't bring examples, because I had enough bad blood in this board But to give you the peace pipe: Actually your Flapee Birds is the homebrew I had most fun with. So if we ever vote most addictive homebrew my vote definitely goes towards Collectorvision.

Glad to hear you like Flappy Birds But frankly, winning the GoTY or not, I couldn't care less honestly I'm making INtv games cause I've alot of fun doing this, nothing else
Ignorama
Best reason do make a good game And I am not just trolling: Consider a Racing game and look at Stadium Mud Buggies. This Game is damn good and has so many details. If you just make a similar sequel it would be the most awesome homebrew by far! I am not sure if people prefer short arcades, unfortunately I guess the answer is yes, but most will buy anything you make. Racing games is a very underused genre on the Intellivision Edited January 13, 2017 by Ignorama

Ignorama
Naa, SMB has these awesome "3D" tracks with hills and jumps and so on. Gearshift system and nice sounds. What you show could be a fun game, but its just not as ambitious as SMB was or a similar game would be.

+Tarzilla
Proper voting, not polling, no results visible until voting is closed, like this: Responses are not visible until end of Poll IP Addresses are tracked Multiple Responses from same device are Off This is just a test, but once everyone agrees on the Release list that qualifies we can set up a proper one.
