Mod music files - Way to adjust speed/timing?

Hey all, I know .mod files are used for lot of game development projects these days so I'll ask here:

 

Has anyone had to adjust a mod to play slower or faster? If so, what utility did you use to make that speed change to a .mod file?

 

I've tried Milky Tracker for the Mac and while you can play a .mod file at different rates of speed I didn't find where you could save the speed change.

You need to use a compatible module editor / maker and set the tempo to what you want, what computer are you using.

You need to set the speed in a Tracker and then choose any of the the channels... Usually it's an "F-Command". I suggest to check the tracker tutorials.

If you run into any sort of incompatibility (because there are at least 2 versions of the MOD format, and your player might not support one or the other), you can also try https://openmpt.org (Windows only) which should handle pretty much everything.
