(Yes yes, I know, this was written in January. What can I say? I'm kicking butt in some developments right now so knocking out stuff now to clear the books for when I go camping later)

So while trying to get a mod to play on the Sega Genesis (or more specifically my Sega Gopher portable) I came across the resource to give me hours and hours of jukebox fun... through VGM music. The VGM being the music resource type used most of the time on the Genesis.

They had the VGM files for the first Bubsy but not the second. Either Bubsy 2 used a different music format or Bubsy 2 has not been decompiled yet? Or that I've found.

Notes:
1.01: General cleanups.

After a week or so of late nights with the MAME
debugger, I've finally got something to show
for it. This soundtrack lost quite a bit in
the conversion from the SNES -- not only do
some of the tunes pop and click like hell (they
do this on real hardware...I checked; nothing I
can do about it, though), but several of the
boss themes are missing, as are variations for
the waterslide and score tally themes. The
remnants of these still exist in the Genesis
version, though, as each stage has seperate
pointers to not just the level BGM, but also
the invincibility theme, waterslide theme,
score tally theme, and a bunch of other stuff.
Sadly, though, no unused tracks this time.
Guess they really were minimal with the
conversion on this one... Ah well, enjoy the
